DAY 1: Tashkent
Arrival in Tashkent. Pick up at the Airport. Accommodation in the hotel. Dinner. Overnight in Tashkent.
DAY 2: Tashkent—Khiva
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to airport for morning flight HY to Urgench. Arrival in Urgench. Transfer to Khiva (35 km). Accommodation in the hotel. City tour around Ichan-Kala architectural complex (12—19th c.), the Residence of the last Khan including Ismail Khodja Mausoleum, Mohammed Amin Khan madrassah, Kunya-Ark Castle (16—17th c.), Kalta Minor tower, Tash-Hovli Palace (19th c.), Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum (14—18th c.), Juma Mosque (10th c.). Lunch. Dinner. Overnight in Khiva.
DAY 3: Khiva—Bukhara
Breakfast in hotel. Coach trip to Bukhara via Kizil-Kum desert along Caravan road, (480 km, 6—7 hrs). Lunch box on the way. Arrival in Bukhara, accommodation in the hotel. Free time. Dinner. Overnight in Bukhara.
DAY 4: Bukhara
Breakfast in hotel. City tour: Citadel Ark (4th c. BC), Mosque Bolo-Khauz (beg. of 20th c.), Mausoleum of Samanids (9—10th c.), Chashma Ayub (14th c.), complex Poi Kalon, which consist of Minaret Kalyan (12th c.), Kalyan mosque (12th c.), Miri Arab madrassah (16th c.), 3-rd Trade Dome (16th c.), Ulughbek’s Madrassah (15th c.), 2-nd Trade Dome (16th c.), Magoki Attari mosque (14th c.), 1-st Trade Dome (16th c.), Lyabi Khovuz ensemble (14-17th c.), which consist of a pool, Honako of Nodir Divan Begi, Kukeldash madrassah, Nodir Divan Begi madrassah. Lunch in city. Dinner in traditional Uzbek house. Overnight in Bukhara.
DAY 5: Bukhara
Breakfast in hotel. Continuation of city tour: walking through the old streets, Chor Minor (18th c.). Tour outside the city: Emir’s Summer Residence Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa (19th c.), memorial necropoles Chor Bakr (10th c.), visit to the Bahouddin Nakshbandi mausoleum (16-19th c.), to the sepulchers of his mother and his preceptor (14th c.). Lunch. Visit to Zirobod — ancient Persian settlement. There is a version, that the age of the settlement is 2500 years. Historical sources claim the settlement was established in the 4thcentury BC by ancient Persian tribes. Visit to an Ethnographic museum and ancient mosque. Dinner. Overnight in Bukhara.
DAY 6: Bukhara—Shakhrisabz
Breakfast in hotel. Coach trip to Shakhrisabz (295 km, 5 hrs). Accommodation in the hotel. City tour: ruins of Ak-Saray Palace (14—15th c.), Khazrati Imam Complex, Dor-ut Tillavat (15—16th c.), Gumbazi-Seiidan Makbarat of Ulughbek, Kok Gumbaz mosque (15th c.), Jahongir mausoleum, visit to the factory of art items “Khudjun”. Lunch in city. Dinner in traditional Uzbek house. Overnight in Shakhrisabz.
DAY 7: Shakhrisabz – Samarkand (90 + 30 km)
In the morning the road to Samarkand by the mountain pass. Arrival in Samarkand. Check in your hotel. Lunch in town. The day is devoted to the glorious capital of the State of Timurids. Visit Registan Square. Excavations and museum of the ancient city of Afrosiab, Architectural complex Shakhi-Zindeh (11—15th c.), Ulughbek Observatory. Diner. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 8: Samarkand
Breakfast in hotel. City tour: Registan square: Medreseh Ulughbek (15th c.), Medreseh Shir-Dor (17th c.), Medreseh Tilla-Kori (17th c.), Mausoleum Guri Emir — Tamerlane’s Tomb (14—15th cc.), Bibi-Khonum Mosque, market place. Lunch in traditional Uzbek house. Visit to natural silk processing workshop “Aiesha”. Dinner. Overnight in Samarkand.
DAY 9: Samarkand—Tashkent
Breakfast in hotel. Coach trip to Tashkent (320 km, 4 hrs). Accommodation in the hotel. Lunch in city. City tour around Tashkent: Independence Square, Navoi Theater square, Barak-Khan Madrasah, The Kaffal-Shashi mausoleum (15th c.), Kukeldash Madrasah (16th c.), the Djuma mosque (9th c.). Visiting of Opera and Ballet Theater named after Alisher Navoi. Dinner. Overnight in Tashkent.
DAY 10: Tashkent—Fergana—Margilan—Fergana
Breakfast in hotel. Early morning flight to Fergana. Accommodation in the hotel. Fergana Valley tour: visit, Margilan city Yodgorlik silk factory. Lunch in Marguilan city. Return to Fergana. if you will wish you can visit city centre of Fergana. There is a big very green park Al Fergani In city centre. The first architectural constructions of a city the House of the governor, Military meeting (the House of officers), a man’s gymnasium (school). Wide roads of Fergana are scattered by a fan from an old military fortress, reminding the St.-Petersburg design of Tashkent. Parks, fountains, Russian architecture and industrial zones strengthen similarity and contrast with the Uzbek Margilan. Dinner. Overnight in Fergana.
DAY 11: Fergana— Oltiarik – Rishtan – Kokand
Transfer to Oltiarik (35km), visiting villages and we see very interesting country with rich agricultural tradition with extensive gardens of fruits, vegetables and grapes on the road. The cotton harvest will be a good opportunity for you to make many pictures of people working in a field. Transfert Richtan which is known for its traditions of ceramics. Visit the studio ceramists. Lunch en route. Continuation of the road to Kokand. Visit the famous Khan Khoudayar Palace (closed on Mondays). The construction of this palace has taken eight years (1863-1871). After visiting the palace of Khan Khoudayar visit the Juma Mosque, which was one of the largest mosques Royal Kokad and includes 10,000 believers at a time, and Dakhmai Jahon – “Tombs of Governors.” Dinner and overnight in Kokand.
DAY 12: Kokand – Chimgan (320 km) – Tashkent (100km)
Drive to CHARVAQ-Chimgan the mountain pass at 2050m Kamchik. CHARVAQ, large reservoir dam for irrigation and hydroelectricity. Possibility of walking mountain, ride a Chimgan. Picnic lunch in the mountains. Back to Tashkent. Dinner. Overnight in Tashkent.
DAY 13: Tashkent
Breakfast in hotel. Last shopping. Visit 2 -3 metro stations. PM Free in Tashkent. Farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 14: Tashkent
Transfer to Tashkent Airport for flight to next destination.
